Sowin Power AS is a Norwegian startup that develops and sells power stations for the cabin and residential market.

Our idea is to combine solar panels, wind turbines and used electric car batteries in a simpler and more complete solution than the solutions available on the market today. Our power station is mounted neither on the roof nor on the wall, with zero need for installing technical equipment inside the house. By placing the power station on ground level outside houses and cottages, we reduce the risk of water damage and fire with fatal consequences to zero.

With climate change, more frequent extreme weather, increasing pressure on the electricity grid, as well as unstable and unpredictable electricity prices, more people want to take responsibility for their own electricity production and more people want to be self-sufficient in free clean energy from the sun and wind.

The energy solutions on the market today are both complex and complicated. They often require that you wrap your house and cabin in solar panels and that you must use a room to store this equipment. This creates noise and poses a potential fire hazard.

We believe there is a better way to do things. Our mission is therefore simple. We will enable the generation and storage of clean electricity from the sun and wind for all those who cannot or do not want to install energy solutions on their houses and cottages.

Our aim is to contribute to the green transition by making it easier for as many people as possible to become producers of clean energy. Our goal is to contribute 1 TWh globally with clean energy. This means that in the future we will have placed approximately one million power stations around the planet.
